Victoria ashlyn

Hi, lovely people. I’m Victoria Colwell, though I go by Victoria Ashlyn and have previously used the stage names ollyotzie and Victoria the Ollyotzie. A bit confusing, I know. I recently honed back in on branding myself as just Victoria Ashlyn, which I went by as a teenager when I first started playing gigs. If you like acoustic, cautiously optimistic, sad-girl type bedroom pop, this just might be the place for you.
I’ve always loved music and aspired to be a singer-songwriter. While Taylor Swift was my childhood hero, my main influences these days are twenty one pilots, Paramore, and Lizzy McAlpine, though I could probably spend hours naming off the full list.
In addition to music, I enjoy making YouTube videos on a variety of topics, from vlogs documenting my sobriety journey to commenting on internet drama.
I finally released my tiny sailboat EP, a hard-won labor of love after a creative draught. For now, it is on my YouTube channel, as I wait for it to be released on streaming platforms. I hope you’ll check it out.

Official Artist bio
Victoria Ashlyn is a multidisciplinary singer-songwriter from Litchfield Park, Arizona, now based in Eugene, Oregon. Her work centers on self-acceptance, cultural critique, and personal growth, blending raw storytelling with lo-fi, acoustic bedroom pop.
Victoria began regularly writing songs and performing as a teenager, heavily influenced by artists like Taylor Swift, twenty one pilots, and Paramore. In 2017, she released Disgrace, a collection of songs recorded in her bedroom. Shortly afterward, she self-released her debut studio project, As a Dweller, which explored themes of misdirection, fractured friendships, and lost innocence. While studying English in college, Victoria refined her narrative voice and gravitated to confessional lyricists like Joni Mitchell, Fiona Apple, and Lizzy McAlpine.
Victoria’s newest EP, tiny sailboat (October 26, 2025), is entirely handmade, marking a creative breakthrough after an artistic drought. The lyrics add a new dimension to her signature style of vulnerable storytelling, covering substance abuse, lost love, and reconciling with regret.
Accompanying visuals include lyric videos, vertical live performances, and a collaboration with her sister that combines photography with digital art to juxtapose reality with whimsy. A charismatic multi-instrumentalist, Victoria accompanies herself during performances while striving to connect authentically with her audience.
